Energy Management Professional Achievement Award

This program explores a range of issues involving energy use and management. Attention is given to specific facility management concerns such as energy conservation and resource management in industrial and commercial settings.

Participants in this program will examine:

  • Supply, demand and regulation
  • Cost/benefit of energy management
  • System efficiency and maintenance
  • Green technology and conservation strategies
  • Creating and auditing an energy management plan

Completion Information

Completion Requirements

To earn the professional achievement award, students must successfully complete (grade C or better) three required courses for a total of nine units.

Completion Time

The program can typically be completed in nine months to one year. All coursework must be completed within five years.

Cost

The cost for the program ranges from approximately $1,500 to $2,000. This does not include textbooks or materials unless otherwise noted.

Transfer Credit

Equivalent courses from other accredited colleges and universities completed within the last five years will be considered for transfer, up to a total of three units. Official transcripts are required.
