Join the CARES Plus Project

Please follow these steps to participate in the Riverside County CARES Plus project:

  • Meet the Program Eligibility Guidelines
    • Provide child care in Riverside County.
    • Work a minimum of 15 hours per week in a licensed or license-exempt facility with children from birth to 5 years of age (center-based or family child care home).
    • Earn less than $60,000 (gross) per year.
  • Attend a CARES Plus Orientation
    Whether you participated in CARES Plus in prior years or are completely new to the program, you must attend an orientation during the 2013-2014 program year in order to qualify. Orientations will be held throughout Riverside County between August and November, in order to offer as many opportunities as possible to join. Please see our orientation schedule to find a date and location that is convenient for you.

Please note: Completion of these steps does not guarantee a stipend. Additional requirements must be met and fulfilled throughout the program year.
