SBC CARES

• Provide child care in San Bernardino County for at least 15 hours per week to children birth through five
• Work as a Child Care Professional in one of the following services:
  • Family Child Care
  • Center-Based Care
  • Head Start or State Preschool
  • License-Exempt Care (e.g., Trustline Provider, Family, Friend and Neighbor)
• Compose and implement a professional Development Plan under the supervision of an SBC CARES and/or Professional Growth Advisor

NOTE: Individuals who qualify for AB #212 funding are not eligible for SBC CARES stipends.

SBC CARES offers five tracks of Early Care Professional Assistance:

• Family, Friend and Neighbor
• Entry
• Permit
• Degree
• Professional

The SBC CARES and CONNECTIONS Projects are funded by First 5 San Bernardino.
