SBC CARES

This track is for participants who possess an active California Child Development Permit or have submitted a permit application by June 30, 2009.

Minimum Requirements:

• Completion of three early childhood education (ECE) units toward a higher level permit.
• Compose and implement an annual self-evaluation plan.
• Complete ECERS (Early Childhood Environment Rating Scale) training within two years.

Duration: Up to 10 years

• Participants must continue to advance up the Permit Matrix or move into Degree Track (Track IV) or
• Individuals with Program Director Permits must enter Professional Track (Track V)
