Educational Therapy Certificate

Completion Requirements
The certificate is awarded upon successful completion (minimum grade B) of 30 quarter units consisting of 10 required courses, one required orientation meeting, and one or more elective courses.

Admission
The candidate must hold a baccalaureate degree and have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 in university-level coursework. The candidate's background must include:

  1. related coursework or a credential in special education, learning disabilities, speech/language development, psychology, educational psychology or related field, and
  2. two years of classroom teaching or related experience.
