Exemplary Teaching and Instructional Leadership Certificate

The Certificate in Exemplary Teaching and Instructional Leadership program will provide accomplished teachers with instructional and leadership skills to enhance their personal and professional growth. This program will also assist teachers who are interested in preparing for National Board Certification. The certificate program has been designed to offer teachers coursework in instructional management; assessment and analysis; family, community and professional partnerships; writing skills, pedagogical skills, leadership approaches and instructional strategies. This program will also benefit teachers who are interested in serving as Beginning Teacher and Assessment (BTSA) providers, mentor teachers, Peer Assistance Review (PAR) providers, resource teachers and other leadership positions.
