Fiction Writing Certificate

The goal of the Certificate in Fiction Writing is to offer a curriculum of high academic integrity that provides core competency for aspiring fiction writers. Participants study with professional writers who bring practical experience and different writing and teaching styles to share with students.

Program Objectives
The program is designed to teach students the art and craft of fiction writing; to develop each writer's potential and to help them find their unique voice in their writing; to expose students to the concept of "workshopping pages" and giving and receiving critical input on style, writing technique and structure; and to provide insight into today's publishing market.
