Fundraising Professional Achievement Award

Fundraising is an increasingly sophisticated and important function in nonprofit, government, education and even private sector businesses. This program provides a comprehensive exploration of the fundraising landscape as well as detailed techniques and strategies to enable individuals to develop an understanding of how to build and create various fundraising programs and campaigns.

Objectives
Participants develop an understanding and ability to create, administer and facilitate a number of fundraising efforts. Some of the most popular and successful techniques and programs are covered including the functions and components of an annual giving campaign, the ability to raise funds and meet program goals through grants, special event planning, planned giving campaigns as well as major gifts and overall campaign strategies. Participants learn how to utilize these various tools and campaigns in different climates and what types of efforts tend to work best for certain groups and/or causes.
