Taxation Certificate

This program provides an examination of the common areas in taxation
including individual, corporate and partnership tax reporting requirements
and liabilities. Each course provides a focused study of
each area along with common tips and techniques to help limit tax
liabilities and ensure legal requirements are met. The program
concludes with participants preparing for the IRS Enrolled Agents examination.
Enrolled Agents are able to represent clients to the IRS and are
considered one of the premiere professional achievements a tax
professional may obtain.
Objectives
Upon completion of the certificate, individuals will: understand common tax laws
and reporting requirements as they pertain to individuals, corporations and partnerships;
be prepared to evaluate common tax liabilities and provide advice regarding potential
ways in which liabilities may be reduced; gain an understanding of the IRS Enrolled
Agent examination process including questions commonly asked on the exam and
how to prepare to take the exam.
