Technology in Education Certificate

Completion Requirements
The Technology in Education Certificate is awarded upon successful completion (grade B or better) of 16 units: 12 units of required courses and four units of elective courses.

Admission
The program is open to anyone who is interested in the application of advanced technologies within educational settings and who has satisfied program prerequisites. Certificate candidates must hold a baccalaureate degree or equivalent and either a teaching credential or have sufficient classroom or school site experience to benefit from the program.

Transfer Credit
A maximum of four quarter units of credit from other institutions may be transferred if these units have been completed within the past five years. Transfers must be requested in writing with course description and syllabi included and will only be accepted after evaluation and approval of the Director of Education Extension.
