Wildlife Forensic Lab, California Department of Fish and Wildlife, Sacramento

The California Department of Fish and Wildlife, Wildlife Forensic Laboratory (WFL) protects wildlife from abuse by determining as much as possible about the animal that was killed. Learn about the WFL and how they fulfill a crucial and ever-expanding role in protecting California’s wild resources. The lab is the only wildlife forensic laboratory in the US.
