Spanish medical terminology and conversational skills used in health care and medical environments. Lessons focus on:

  • basic anatomy and physiology terminology
  • related colloquialisms
  • commonly encountered health conditions
  • cross-cultural issues.

Spanish grammatical structures are also explored to provide a foundation for enhancing conversational skills. Benefits individuals in medical professions, clinics, educational settings, and other professional settings where bilingual skills are used to assist Spanish speakers with health-related issues.

Prerequisites

Knowledge of Spanish and its pronunciation is recommended for this course; or consent of instructor.
