UCR Extension focuses on meeting the educational needs of the community. Whether for career advancement, career change, teacher training, or general interest, Extension courses are always open to everyone. A college degree is not required to attend UCR Extension.

How to Enroll
We make it easy for you to get started at UCR Extension, with four ways to enroll in a class:
- Online: browse our online catalog. We accept MasterCard and VISA. You will receive e-mail confirmation of your online enrollment.
- By phone: call (951) 827-4105 or toll-free (800) 442-4990 to register. We accept MasterCard and VISA.
- By mail: complete the enrollment form. Don't forget your check or VISA/MasterCard authorization. Use a separate sheet for each person enrolling.
- In person: come to the UCR Extension Center, 1200 University Avenue. Check our locations page for registration hours and directions.
Online Study
Commuting not an option? No problem! Join the hundreds of people who have taken classes and earned certificates through our online classes. All it requires is a computer with an internet connection, a modern Web browser, speakers or headphones (and a microphone for live webcast courses), and an e-mail address. Over 50
The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute offers more than 30 courses each quarter, held during the day, Monday-Friday, in arts, science, history, computing and many other areas. Members enjoy noncredit courses with no tests, grades or entrance requirement. Learn more about the Osher program.
