Learn how to stage your home to sell quicker in UCR Extension’s one-day class
RIVERSIDE, CALIF. – It’s no secret. The housing market is tough out there. Housing prices plunged by a record 8.4 percent in November, according to a composite index based on 10 U.S. cities tracked by Standard & Poors. What’s a seller to do? Staging your home to sell has been proven to increase the profit of your home sale by more than 6 percent. Find out how to dress up your home in the class Staging Your Home to Sell, which meets Saturday, March 15 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at UCR Extension Center, 1200 University Ave.
Sabine Gross-Vasquez, president and owner of America’s Real Estate Center, will show you how to improve your home’s appeal from the curb to the backyard and everything in between. Learn how to declutter, simplify, brighten, organize, replace and display so that prospective buyers have the opportunity to emotionally connect with the house you’re so eager to sell.
The fee for this class is $60 (includes parking). For information about this class, contact (951) 827-5801, e-mail arts@ucx.ucr.edu or visit www.extension.ucr.edu.
