Introduction

These tutorials are designed to help you get your course organized in Blackboard and take advantage of some of the tools available, whether you are teaching a face to face course or one which is completely or partially online. Each tutorial is self-contained, so you can start with any one you like, although they are listed in the order someone new to Blackboard might want to go through them. All tutorials are accessible through the menu tabs on the top of the screen. They are organized into 3 categories: Basic, Management and Media. Each section contains several topics which you will see listed on the right side of the screen.

You will need Flash installed on your computer in order to view the videos which are part of the tutorials. Some of the tutorials have links to PDF files which can usually be opened in your web browser but may require that you have Adobe Reader installed.
