The University of California, Riverside’s Osher Lifelong Learning Institute was created to provide people over the age of 50 the opportunity to continue their education through stimulating courses taught in a variety of subjects.
Our courses are only open to Osher members so learning takes place in a peer environment with learners whose common bonds are intellectual curiosity and the experience of their generation. There are no tests or grades and no entrance exams or minimum educational background restrictions.
Classes are taught by distinguished professors and experts in the field. They are generally offered in the daytime, Monday through Friday, with some Saturday classes.
If you are a spouse or partner of a renewing member, you can become an Associate member for a fee of $70 which entitles you to attend two classes during the same session as the renewing member.

The classes require a love of learning and a desire to open your mind to new ideas and concepts.
