Delve into the specialty niche of solid state electronics and become well-versed in diodes and bipolar semiconductor devices. Gain knowledge and expertise to pursue an entry-level position as an electronics installer, repairer or maintenance technician and get hands-on with transistors, amplifiers, and AM-FM receivers. Understand the various characteristics between devices, and learn the ins and outs of circuit design, construction, measurement and analysis. Complete this program on its own, or expand your knowledge and marketability and add breadth to your credential with one of our other two specialty training programs in digital electronics or AC-DC circuits.
