Take part in an illustrated lecture and field trip to Pasadena to explore the arts and crafts movement that flourished in Southern California during the early 1900s, highlighting:

  • architecture
  • furniture
  • painting
  • textile design
  • metal work
  • fashion

The architecture and furnishings of brothers Charles and Henry Greene, and furniture designs by Gustav Stickley, will also be highlighted during a walking tour that will include a visit to the Gamble House.
