From trees to buildings, 3D mapping supports enhanced spatial understanding and collaboration. Learn to harness GIS tools for creating, editing, and managing sharable 3D content. To better understand the application of 3D GIS, this course will explore core methods of Geodesign, in addition to introducing commonly used 3D software and tools, including:

  • Building Information Modeling (BIM)
  • SketchUp
  • CityEngine

Mr. Hunt also co-developed a semester-long studio course in geodesign for the University of Redlands.
