An overview of the effective uses of computer-based technology in designing lessons that address information literacy and problem-solving skills. Discussions include:

  • electronic media
  • computer-based collaborative tools
  • using a computer for manipulation and analysis of data
  • creating learning environments that promote effective use of technology aligned with the curriculum

Sessions emphasize hands-on use of computer-based technology and online or e-group experiences. This course does not apply toward the Supplementary Authorization in Computer Science Education.
