A seminar on the recognition and reporting of indicators of child abuse in young children. Behavioral characteristics of physical and emotional maltreatment that may be manifested in classroom behavior will be presented. Steps for reporting suspicions of child abuse according to California law, treatment strategies, and community resources to ameliorate negative child outcomes will be discussed.

En este seminario hablaremos de como reconocer y reportar senales de abuso infantil en ninos pequenos. Se presentaran caracteristicas de comportamiento fisico y maltrato emocional que se manifiestan en aulas escolares. Se hablara de como reportar las sospechas de abuso infantil segun la ley de California, tambien de estrategias de tratamiento y recursos en la comunidad para poder mejorar el impacto negativos en la ninez.
