The key ingredient for a successful business is the business plan. This course is designed for small to mid-sized businesses and individuals who are looking to start a business. You will examine the process of developing and implementing a business plan. Topics include: what is a business plan and why prepare one, feasibility, analyzing the industry, examining the competition and understanding your market, goal setting, growth and long-term planning (exit strategy, succession, etc.), managing change. You will develop a mock business plan.
