close [x] Monica Lopez Castillo, M.A. in Education, Leadership in Early Childhood Education, is currently an Adjunct Faculty member with Brandman University and College of the Desert, and an Early Childhood Education Teacher for Palm Springs Unified School District, also holds Program Director, Site Supervisor and Master Teacher Permits from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing. She has more than 18 years of experience working in family child care, private preschools, and with state- and federally-funded programs.  Ms. Castillo specializes in working with diverse families and cultures, including English language learners, low-income families, same-sex parents, extended families, nuclear families, divorced parents, teenage parents, foster parents, grandparents and primary caregivers, and families with children with disabilities.
