Methods for understanding and managing language-based learning disabilities without identifying students with labels. The class introduces skills most relevant for teaching students to improve reading and writing skills. Discussion includes strategies that teachers, parents and students can use both at school and home to manage difficulties and improve memory and/or understanding. Appropriate for parents, teachers and speech/language pathologists.
