History and foundations of Advanced Placement Program* and what should be accomplished in AP® classes. Philosophy and process for AP exams, the relationship of honors and other classes that lead to an AP course, and the role of vertical teams in encouraging enrollment in AP classes will be presented. Legal and ethical considerations for offering AP programs will be discussed.
