An introduction to the discipline of archaeology to non-archaeologists. You develop the skills necessary to gather information to officially record features of archaeological interest, as well as understand the practice and ethics of preservation and protection of our collective cultural heritage. Completion of the series of six (6) two-session classes provides the training necessary to participate in volunteer archaeological field survey and archaeological site stewardship.
