Explore step-by-step the art and science of decision-making that can apply to the workplace, as well as your personal life. Learn about the differences between critical and everyday thinking, and how the components of critical thinking impact the choices and decisions we make. Building on the foundation of critical thinking, examine the creative, analytical and judgmental steps in the thinking process which compares the ideas generated and systematically eliminates the weakest ideas allowing decision-makers to confidently select the best solution for a given challenge. Then, you discuss:

  • collaborative thinking in teams
  • how to harness the talents of the team members
  • ways to effectively deal with threats and challenges
  • how to identify barriers that diverse teams face
