  • building placement
  • mobility and vehicle circulation
  • parking lot design
  • outdoor plazas
  • gathering spaces

Exercises involving reading grading plans and building elevations are included. Different architectural styles, their influences on modern buildings and authenticity, the importance of legislative findings in the approval and denial processes are also discussed.
