  • advertising and promotions
  • public relations
  • research and consumer behavior
  • sponsorship
  • venue naming rights
  • licensing in an organization's marketing strategy

You will also explore the various types of media available to sports marketing practitioners, and discuss the integration of theory and practice in effective strategic marketing and evaluate differing models used to increase revenue in sporting organizations.

Antonio Pagano, J.D., Founder and Owner, Piad’ Amore LLC, is a marketing specialist with extensive experience in both sport and corporate product management.  He is the former Rugby Program Director for UC Santa Barbara, as well the General Manager and Marketing and Communications Manager for two professional rugby clubs in Europe. Mr. Pagano is also the author of “Oval Marketing,” which focuses on the marketing of rugby, while using benchmarks of the best practices in other fields and industries.
