Along the eastern foot of the Sierra Nevada lies one of the most remarkable landscapes in North America. Explore the Owens Valley and Eastern Sierra between Lone Pine and Mammoth Lakes. Topics include:
- The huge 1872 earthquake (one of the three great earthquakes in California history)
- Glacial landforms from the last Ice Age
- The cataclysmic eruption of Long Valley
- The volcanic hazards of future eruptions of Mammoth Mountain
