Course Number: AST X411

2 units

The "Yogasutra" is the most authentic book about yoga available today. The author, Patañjali, was himself a great Yogi and a master of human-mind. He has done a great service to the world of yoga by giving us an in-depth definition and description of the practice. He takes us along the path of yoga in a very systematic way. Organizing the whole yoga practice into eight steps, he goes in to the subtlest details of each. Designed for yoga practitioners, this course introduces you to the in-depth study of the mind, and the mechanics of meditation as described in the "Yogasutra."
