close [x] Kristine M. Karcher, B.S.N., is the Chief Deputy Medical Examiner for Coos County, Oregon. She investigates all medical examiner deaths in the county and, as a forensic nurse, deals with victims of violence. Karcher photographes hundreds of victims, scenes, evidence, and bodies. She is a member of the Major Crime Team, Motor Vehicle Reconstruction Team, Forensic Team and provides annual training for law enforcement, nurses, and first responders. Additionally, Karcher teaches crime scene investigation and criminal investigation at the Southwest Oregon Community College.
