Director's Message

Kasey Wilson HeadshotCollaboration. Partnership. Community. These are the words that are running through my mind as I prepare to lead our newly created Business, Technology, and Health academic department. I know that it is only through fully realizing the potential represented by these words that we will successfully fulfill our mission of providing accessible, affordable education and training for working adults in our community.

We are one of the fastest growing areas in the nation with a significant demand for a skilled, talented workforce. Supporting individuals in keeping pace with the changing requirements of the modern work environment is at the core of our purpose. But we can only achieve this goal through strong partnerships with businesses, organizations, and government agencies. These collaborations ensure our students meet the professional development and specific training requirements needed to remain competitive. And this creates a workforce trained to improve efficiency and drive innovation throughout the community.

There's one more word that comes to mind as we anticipate the start of a new quarter, and that is "continuous." It's not enough to educate and train workers today and expect them to remain relevant forever. In an environment of rapid change and developing technology, continuous learning is critical.

Whether you are an individual looking to advance your career, or an organizational leader interested in investing in workforce, we are ready for a continuous collaboration and partnership to meet your goals and strengthen our community.
